Yesterday I sent a pack of my dirty clothings to a dobby (or dobi?).
Shopkeeper : Wash?
Me : Yah.
Shopkeeper : Don’t want to iron?
Me : Don’t want. (cheaper)
Shopkeeper : Wash together or separate?
Me : Together. (cheaper)
Shopkeeper : When you want to collect?
Me : Tomorrow evening.
Shopkeeper : (Write a receipt) Thank.
This is basically the conversation between me and the shopkeeper. Simple and cool.
Today I went to collect my clothings after my dinner. I showed them the receipt, and the shopkeeper say he can’t find my clothings. He mentioned that he surely saw his maid folding my clothes.
After some searching, I saw my clothes hanging at the back part of the shop. Obviously the part where he saw his maid folding was a piece of crap. I didn’t wanna be angry, cause I am not a local over here and I somehow want to be more patient towards Ipoh-ians.
I asked him how long more before I can get my clothes. He tell me to come collect after 15mins.
I went home, bathe, and rest for a while.
30mins later I show up in the dobby again. This time I saw his maid STILL ironing my socks!
Fucker.
The shopkeeper told me to wait for a while for the maid to pack it up in the plastic bag. He then weight my clothes and it was 2.8kg.
(Dobby rate : 3kgs below = RM6)
He pass me the clothes and tell me that he separated my towel up and wash, so the total is RM7. After I dissatisfiedly paid the money, he then tell me to separate out the socks back at home cause the socks aren’t 100% dry yet.
WHAT THE FUCK?!
Did I ever tell him to seperate my towel up? No!
Did I say I will come collect during the evening? Yes!
Is it his job to wash-dry-fold my clothes? Yes!
For fuck he ownself seperate up my towel, late for handling my clothes, didn’t ensure that my stuffs are dried and STILL CHARGE ME AT A HIGH RATE!! He should be offering me free ironing as a sign of apology.

I paid and left, before I get out of control and blow fire on them.
Cilaka people. I swear, I swear. I won’t ever come give business to them anymore. I would rather travel further to send my dirty clothes for washing.
A day being spoilt by this stupid dobby. Kanineh!
