I went to a clinic, and I measured my blood pressure.
It’s a fucking 160/100!
If you have no idea about the rate, I can tell you that it’s REALLY HIGH for a 23 years old person like me that I was advised to be on medication.
Anyway, the doctor’s expression was funny. His face was so so shocked, and he didn’t dare to tell me initially how high was my pressure and only kept telling me that it’s very high. Until I let him know my family’s background with the hypertension thingy, then only he lets me know the pressure.
Last note : If I didn’t update my blog for some time, I might be dead. Goodbye in advance. :)

you forgot that you wont die so fast and easily ar…you will paralysis 1st mar…for i think at least 10 to 20 years…but don worry…i will still remember you and go to see you …

That is freaking high….
if you are not an active person….try rigorous exercise.
It might help…and also eat well.

No, you won’t. Just rest and take the meds. Once you have totally recovered, it’s time to change your diet and lifestyle.

The doc should have asked you to take some medicine which will lower your blood pressure. Don’t worry!!. Only bad news is that you may have to take that medicine for life!..
Lots of ppl take such medicine…
Please note that it is important that you take the medicine on a timely basis..no EXCUSES for not following or otherwise your blog will not be undated any more…

yipwt - I do play badminton about once or twice a week. I think it’s something else that causes the surge in my bp. Shall update the story later..
lilian - Um, how come it’s kidney related? I thought it’s something to do with my heart.
can - The meds is expensive, and once started on the meds, there’s no turning back. I don’t want that kind of life yet.
Yummy King - The doc did suggest me to go look for specialist and do a thorough check up, just I don’t think it’s necessary. Btw, the price of bp meds are killing!
