Let’s clarify that.
Everyone (almost) have a ang moh name, so I did came out with my own name too - Gavin, it is.
I seldom introduce myself with this name, so most of my friends aren’t aware of my “another” name. This name is mostly used for some official matters like doing room booking and stuffs.
You should see their shocking faces when they hear me mentioning this name..
Anyway. I don’t know how I ended up with this name (I know how, but it’s just too fucking long to elaborate how I ended up with this name, so let’s assume I don’t know k), but I seriously like this name, despite many “obstacles” I’ve been through with this name.
Obstacle 1.
Fren : Your name?
Me : Gavin.
Fren : Huh? Gay Win??
Me : -.-||
Obstacle 2.
(Registering me and my friend’s name to attend a talk.)
Fren : Name please.
Me : Gavin.
Fren : HUH? What win ar?
Me : Gavin. Gee - Aye - Wee - Eye - Ann.
Fren : Gavin har? How come your friend’s name so weird 1??
Me : Aunty, the Gavin is me….
Fren : HAHAHHAHAHAHA (for about 7 seconds non stop).
Me : -.-|||
Obstacle 3.
Fren : What’s your english name ar?
Me : Umm, it’s kinda weird. You really wanna know?
Fren : Shoot.
Me : Ok.. Gavin.
Fren : (Give me a look-down-on-you face) SO ACT! You might as well call yourself Gavi Chandran and become an Indian…
Me : You shaddap.
Obstacle 4.
Cannot think of any currently, but I’m sure there is. Wait till I refresh my memory and I shall update this part.
Anyway, I want to say that, despite all the obstacles mentioned above, I STILL LIKE MY NAME!!
Don’t you ever try to change, or ask me to change my name. NEVER EVER DO THAT!!
So the next time if you bump me in the streets, you could call me Gavin and give me a big big hug. In return, I could give you a big big kiss. HAHA!
Of course, you could still stick to my old name - yung.

Unofficially, i create myself a very short and easy remember ang-moh name, V, just an alphabet, and almost 90% of friends in MMU call me this name. If you dare to forgot it, go start from kindergarten.

i like this name dude. not too generic and best of all, it is a NAME. i hate those ppl who invent weird names for themselves, as if they are very creative. those who do not know the existence of the name GAVIN are purely ignorant.
