I thought that once I left Melaka, I have no chance to taste the heavenly taste mille crepe already, but thank god I was wrong. The original person who brought this cake’s recipe back from Japan has opened a branch in Penang, named The Humble Beginnings.
Family picture.
THIS IS REALLY ONE GOOD THING TO BE SPREAD AND CELEBRATED!
The Humble Beginnings started his business in Penang Branch on 1st of September, and I didn’t waste my time to reserve one Mille Crepe for my brother’s birthday. (It was a surprise party for him and that’s the first time I saw my brother blushed. LOL!)
My bother and his Gf.
I bought the Peanut Butter & Blueberry flavour for my brother. Gawd it tasted AWESOME, I mean, AWESOME!!!
Yeah the big-good cake!
To those who don’t know anything about mille crepe, you can read it over here, which is one of my historical posts lol. To read a more professional description, head over to Jason’s site.
I am just so glad to be able to taste this cake again. It definitely didn’t let me down. Too bad that The Humble Beginnings doesn’t have a shop yet, its cake can only be bought through a free delivery service.
Layers and layers of cream. YUMMY!
If you are interested, you can book online or just give The Humble Beginnings a call. For more details, visit their site.
Trust me, you won’t regret!
