3.0 Silent Whisper

Despite being not so lucky in my career, I was quite lucky in winning some competitions.

First is winning a set of tupperware (water tumbler and a sandwich tupperware) from the Tupperware just by pledging to be more eco-friendly. How lucky was that!!

Then I won 2 FREE room at First World Hotel, Genting from their genting worldcard fanpage. BUT TOO BAD. All of the contestants including me got fooled. None of the voucher could be used as it were only valid for LOW season, and only until end of this month. Please note that we only received our voucher at the beginning of March. I checked every single day on march, and only 11th March is available, and only one room left!

Yucks! I felt so so insulted lo! I am getting a FREE-NOTHING!!!

Genting is actually giving useless vouchers just to please us. I guess the marketing team were expecting some positive free word of mouth from us, but  they just made a very wrong decision for giving us this kind of voucher. This kind of marketing strategy is just so wrong!

Well actually I’m not the only one complaining about this. Go look at their fanpage Discussion board, you will see many complaining too but the moderator just decides to ignore us.

Ha!

Well, I think I’m not that lucky afterall.

This is a post to let me rant about my job, again. Feel free to not read.

One of my client cancelled 2 of his policy yesterday, to buy the same coverage from other company.

He made it very clear that it wasn’t any of my fault, not my service nor he doesn’t like me. It’s because he HAS TO support his friend who joined the business recently.

I was pissed, not because I lose the business. It’s because the agent is really unprofessional.

In this competitive industry, I think it’s common for agents to ask their clients to cancel their own policy and buy a new one from them. But please, when you do such a unscrupulous thing, please consider about the clients.

As an agent, you should be aware of the waiting period for the medical as well as for the critical illness coverage. At least let the new policy fully passed the waiting period before advising the client to surrender the original coverage. Should anything happen during the waiting period, the client would have NO coverage at all! Is this how you care about your client? You’re all about commission only!

When you cancel a policy and buy again, you are subject to many risks. Also you are SURELY paying at a higher price (due to age). Not to mention, all the cash accumulated will be just, gone.

When I was a newbie in this industry, I used to ask people to surrender their policy and buy from me too (but my plan FAILED, LUCKILY!). It was about commission rather then care or concern. Until I realize the consequences of doing so, I swear I had stop doing such thing (unless there’s really a need to change to a newer plan). It’s always not at the profit of the client so no point doing so right.

Another thing is that, by surrendering the policy from me, my bonus worth of about RM5k is gone. Just like that.

I’m just sad that what people will do for money. Not putting client’s benefit at priority is just so so wrong! This industry is already so chaotic (where people would run whenever they see Insurance) and I hope you don’t last in this industry, not until you learned how to care about others/clients first.

I believe in giving my best to my clients, hoping that they could remember me whenever they need more coverage from me, or whenever they see people needing insurance, they could recommend me. I hereby take this chance to ALL my dear clients, friends, and those who never fail to introduce me their friends/new clients. Without you, I wouldn’t have survived in this industry.

Aircond fixed! Thanks to my lovely uncle.

Had a super nice sleep after all those miserable semi-cold/hot nights. It’s heaven last night.

Aircond turned down again last night, after being repaired.

The whole thing got FROZEN when I got back home after a few hours of leaving the aircond turned on.

Yah like this. See it’s 95% frozen!

Damn siao lor!

End up I have to sleep in my mum’s room for the night. Hopefully not tonight though.

So tell me how cool is that when your aircond is that cold. =[

I ate so full, nothing to do. I joined in the facebook Genting Worldcard Membership fan page. They have this daily Quizes where winners will get some free rooms or free concert ticket from them.

I was in that page for almost 2 hours, but didn’t get any tickets. Had fun though. Of course I did not just do that for my past 3 hours la. It was more of multitasking. Funny thing is there are so many people like me eat too full nothing to do. You guys don’t need to work one meh!

Updates : I’VE WON 2 ROOM VOUCHERS FOR FIRST WORLD HOTEL! Yeyyyy yey@!!!! I can only be utilised during LOW season. EVEN BETTER! Low peak means less crowd means everything CHEAPER! Happpii lo!

Finally I get to eat some cny cookies, thanks to someone who responded to my regular ranting – No cny cookies to eat!. Nyahahah! But still haven’t get to eat the Kueh Kah Peik, and the white white cookies that will just melt in the mouth. Hmmm.

Read that this year’s Zodiac of Ox seems to have a very very good year ahead. The financial, the career, the love all seems to be going very well. Muahhaa. Happie to imaging a whole full fruitful year ahead.

Yesterday started my “puak kiaw” session, and I WON! Wooooh finally. It’s so nice to see a positive figure at the end of the gambling session you know. Gonna test my luck again tonight, and also during Mar when I claim my free room in Genting. =P

Anyways, I started work already! Actually was planning to start my work after the full CNY, ie. chu 15. Hahaa. Seemed things didn’t go as I planned eh. But shockingly I was so happy to see and get to talk with my client. This shows that I love my job very much?

Just came back from the movie 72 Tenants. Not good BUT FUNNY, SUPER FUNNY!!

The crowd is so scary, and thanks to Kevin Choe we get to watch the movie for free, AND DON’T NEED TO QUEUE! Geng onot. XD

Watched All Wells Ends Well. Lousy. End. Don’t waste your money, especially if you don’t get to use student card for student price. I’d say the movie doesn’t even worth more then the student price. Really.

So chinese new year was surprisingly boring. BECAUSE OF THE STUPID CULTURE (where you are advised not to pay visit to peoples house when your closed family passed away within a year), I don’t get to visit my relatives, and hence, NO LESS ANGPAO!

Shucks.

So actually what’s the main story of this post? Hmm. It’s actually I got nothing better to do while waiting for my hair to dry so that I could go to bed. Another thing is that, All Wells Ends Well, please don’t waste your time and money.

Oh hey my dearest fellow readers, HAPPY MERRY SELAMAT TIGER YEAR 2010!!!!!!!

If asked me, I’m extremely happy this year cause I get to spend my first Chinese New Year after my 24 years of life, IN PENANG! How cool is that not having to be back in Ipoh Lol!

Too lazy to install the Adobe Photoshop in my new computer to watermark it. Oh did I tell you I’m using my new computer from Dell. The order was smooth as the computer reached my house less then a week from my order. And the computer is so nice with my new 20″ widescreen LCD monitor. *weeeet* *weeeeet*

GONG XI FATT CHAIII !!

It’s chinese new year, and it’s going to be a BIG BIG excuse for me to get some new stuffs.

Today I finally replace my Crocs, which is 3 years old, and extremely slippery on wet and smooth floor. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES I ALMOST SLIP WITH THAT SLIPPER.

I got a pair of slipper from Aldo. Very comfortable. And also very light. Totally suit my leg.

Finally get rid of the Crocs slipper. LOL. I didn’t want to get a Crocs is because there’s so many (I don’t know genuine or fake Crocs) selling in night market at extremely cheap price. Pfft.

A little not used to seeing a black slipper due to my bright colour Crocs has been with my foot for like 3 years.

Alas. I love the slipper. Do you?

You guys know I was down with fever, but only some of you know that I got rashes after my fever. Yes, rashes, for the first time in my life.

Till now nobody can tell me what the rashes were, or how they come from. Doctor only told me that my blood is “dirty”. Right. ! How dirty can my blood be? Full of cockroaches poo poo?!

Anyways, the rashes were very all over my body in tiny spots. No scars/heads. Not itchy. Just looked fugly. LOL!

Not a thing that’s actually worth mention, but just that I’d like to jot down my first rashes. Ehehe!
