Yoo-hoo-hooo-hoo-hooo-hoo~
I got my room back, and I did some minor refurnishing on it. Gawd it looks great! I love my room so much now!
I painted my wall with Butter Cream colour and also Orange. Giving some colours to the wall did send some excitement signals to me considering my previous wall which is in deadly-white colour. Not to forget my new yellow bed sheet.
Bah. Pardon my messy bed.
Also I bought a new table for myself. It’s a DIY product, and I spent almost 4 hours fixing it. So exhausting but by looking at the end product, I am proud of myself. =]
See the red carpet? See my new desk?
Not to forget, a red-orange carpet under the desk, and also green mat for my table, both from Home Harmony @ Queensbay.
My lappie, photo frame, and my clock on the desk.
The cute little OnePiece characters on my desk.
80% of my room refurnishing has completed. I need another wardrobe for the completion and this should be done within this few days.
Now, time to unpack my stuffs from Melaka, after such a long long long time..
LOLZ!

From the newspaper today, I got to know that Celine Dion in having a concert in Malaysia, and the tickets are selling at a heavenly price with the most expensive ticket up to 4 digits. Though Celine has really been a diva but I wonder, how many can actually afford the concert ticket.
Speaking of that, do you know that Cher, the long long hair pop diva is going to have her show on May 2008 in Las Vegas, yes the city that never sleeps!
For your info, the American born Cher (born in year 1946), which makes her 62 years old now. Can’t believe it right? Me too can never imagine her to me that old, but at the same time as energetic like a young person. I got to know her through her popular debut song - Believe during my secondary school times. The song was my favourite at that time, that until now I still can remember every single word of the lyrics. I did a search on her, only found out that she’s not only a singer, she’s also an academic award winning actress, song writer, film director, record producer and an author! She surely earns my respect.
Well I can’t decide yet whether can I make it over to Vegas to watch her show due to my exam date in May haven’t being released, but if you are interested in getting the Cher tickets Las Vegas, you can always visit the Teamonetickets[dot]com to purchase the Cher ticket.

The night before I came back to Melaka (Sunday), I attend a meaningful event.
A blessing ceremony, organised by Tzu Chi Penang.
This blessing ceremony is done annually, and every year there are more then 10,000 people who attended this event. This year, I am one of them.
The entrance ticket.
The ceremony started off by a speech from Penang Chief Minister Mr. Koh. From his speech, only I know that Tzu Chi plays a big role in recycling goods in Penang. From 3% contribution of recycled items in Malaysia last year, to 18% this year, which makes Penang the biggest contributor in Malaysia.
Mr. Koh giving the opening speech.
I sincerely wanna thank Tzu Chi for all the efforts that they have put in.
After the speech, the program started off.
It’s a sketch by a retarded grandson and his grandfather. In the sketch, they creates awareness of recycling, and love towards our surroundings.
In between the sketch, there will be videos showing the contributions by Tzu Chi to the world. Each year, each month, they helped a lot of people that suffers from the natural disaster caused by us human.
A very uniformed team, performing infront of us.
Using hands, they translate the meaning from the video.
Professional Tzu Chi members perform some dance while the video is playing. Using sign language, they translate the meaning of the video shown. It’s pretty interesting to see a big group with uniformed body language.
The video on the big big screen on all for directions.
Also, there’s sketch in between the songs and videos.
The hell act, where Tzu Chi members act on saving them.
Finally, and the most interesting part, is lighting up candles, which acts as the “light of our heart” (心灯), and everyone were blessed together.
The Tzu Chi members lining up at each line preparing.
The 10,000 lights are lighten up. Superb!
The first candle would be light up by Tzu Chi members, and we are to pass the fire to the person beside us, and this continues until everyone got their candle lighten up.
The view got so “strong” when you see 10,000 candles are lighten up tidily in the hall, and everyone to make a wish and to be blessed.
Everyone’s wishing for their best.
I got touched, for a second. I gave up my own wish, and wish for everyone’s happiness.
After the blessing session, the blessing ceremony ends. By the end of the ceremony, I learned some stuffs, some quotes to be more exact by Master Cheng Yen, that are strongly got sealed in my mind.
Master Cheng Yen said,
Do not wish for our own well-being,
but ask to sharpen your wisdom.Do not wish that things will go easy on us,
but ask for faith, endurance and courage.Do not wish for less responsibility,
but ask for increased strength.
And also said,
In this world, there is no one that I would not love,
In this world, there is no one that I would not trust,
In this world, there is no one that I would not forgive.
I got touched by how noble Master Cheng Yen can be. I am sure no matter how hard I try, I can’t be as noble as Master Cheng Yen.
My candle, my blessing.
There’s really too much to be learned from Master Cheng Yen.

First thing first.
Happy new year 2008 !!!
Umm. Supposed to post up about my Sing K session as the topic won the most votes (2 votes, how pathetic), but I am really too tired to arrange the photos over there, so let’s leave it to tomorrow ok.
New Year here was… very-not-high with majority (90%) of Malays there smoking and didn’t even create the high-ness, which makes the countdown SO SIEN! Luckily I have my trainee friends together, whom made my new year more meaningful.
Everyone was so anxious at the field there, waiting for the fireworks to light up. Finally at 12am, after the countdown, CHIUUUU~ Booom boom BOOOM!!
Fireworks!!!!
I only manage to snap 2 see-able pics from the fireworks session. (Who can let me train on taking fireworks pics!!??)
Snap 1.
Snap 2.
Ok. Not really see-able also if compared to those pro bloggers. Sigh. That’s the best my camera could do.. *cry*
Anyway, I wish everyone have a Happy & Prosperous year ahead ok!

Oh my, times flies.
It’s the end of year 2007 already. At midnight, there will be no more 2007, it’s whole new freaking year 2008 waiting for us!
Year 2007 has been a great year for me about everything (except academic, where my results are dropping drastically), and I hope year 2008 will be better year not only for me but for all of you my lovely readers who have been supporting me! (especially money matters).
I didn’t do any evaluation of myself, and I din’t make any new year resolution because even if I did a resolution, I will mostly forget all about it on the 2nd of Jan. So, might as well save the efforts la.
Anyway, will be going for a countdown somewhere near Green Town. (I heard that there are fireworks wooot!) This is my first count down in Ipoh, and it will be the last one. So I hope to have fun with all the Ipohans over here.
Oops, before you close this window and roam around other sites, remember to cast your votes!
Happy new year 2008!

Today after work, I had dinner with my fellow trainee friends (yeah finally got the chance after 2 weeks). You don’t know how hard it is to have dinner together cause all of us leaves the office at different time due to the OTs.
At first we planned to have our dinner in one of the restaurant near our company, but we are worried that the restaurant might be closed on Monday, so we change our dinner spot to Mcd.
Mcd is having their latest product on spicyness, and therefore I ordered their limited time product - Double Spice McDeluxe Burger. Trust me, it’s good, but it’s expensive at the same time. RM14+ for the whole medium McValue Set, and I don’t recommend this if you can’t handle spicy food.
Mcd’s Double Spicy Chicken McDeluxe.
It’s a double layer of spicy marinated meat between the buns, with some lettuce and mayonese in between the meat and the bun.
My mouth wasn’t big enough to bite this thick burger, so I took out one of the layer and ate it seperately.
Well marinated chicken fillet.
Then of course, I took the Cornetto McFlurry recommended by SuperheroW. Actually this is the second time I am having this already. The Cornetto McFlurry is so good that you will yearn for more, and more, and more. It’s really nice lah duh!
Chocolate Cornetto McFlurry. GOOD!
I think I got addicted with the Cornetto McFlurry already, as my whole mouth is so wet while looking at the pics due to the uncontrolable saliva.
Ah ah! It’s irresistable!!
Then suddenly, Irene brought in a box of cake. Ah! Now only I know they are celebrating my birthday.
Touched. Touched. Touched one more time.
This time I am really surprised, as I never expect them to celebrate my birthday, at least not today.
My birthday cake, with my name on it.
After everyone finished with their meals, I finally got to blow my cake. It was a hard time for them to find a lighter to lit up the candles as all of us don’t smoke, paiseh lah to trouble everyone.
I got my candles lit up, they sang the birthday song to me, I made a wish, and finally got to cut my cake.
I got my super big slice of birthday cake, they said birthday boy needs to eat a bigger slice wo, bully people one..
One big slice of the capochino cake.
These are my trainee friends, working in the same company but different department. All of them are just so lovely. With them around, my internship won’t be boring anymore.
Top row L-R: Grace, Irene and Chunkeat.
Bottom row L-R : Liyi, Me and KimCong.
Thanks everyone or the celebrations, I really am happy, and hope you guys are happy too.
Anyway, happy belated birthday to myself. :)
祝我生日快乐.
